Because of the Russian invasion in 2022, young Ukrainians saw their world collapse.
- Loss of bearings.
- Loss of the world they knew.
- Loss of friends.
“In short, the future has become a fog.”
The official figures from UNICEF and NATO at the end of February 2022 speak for themselves.
7.5 million children were living in Ukraine at the beginning of 2022, of whom 4.3 million were displaced — 2.5 million children displaced within Ukrainian territory, and 1.8 million Ukrainian children forced to flee to neighboring countries in 2022.
We cannot and must not give up.
We focus on one project at a time. We know very well that we are not equipped to help all Ukrainian children, and we are not speaking about those deported to Russia.
We remain realistic at our level.
It may seem modest, but if we do nothing and give up, we will lose any vision of hope, for young Ukrainians, and for our shared humanity.

In 2025, we organized a scout camp at Saint-Guénolé Abbey in Landévennec for 40 young Ukrainians and the 10 adults accompanying them.
With the help of many volunteers and donors, and thanks to the hospitality of the monks, these young people were able to recharge both emotionally and physically in a peaceful, non‑threatening environment.
